Happy Gas

Nitrous Oxide, commonly known as Happy Gas, has been used as an anaesthetic in medicine since the 1800’s and is safe to use on both adults and children with no side effects. The happy gas provides a painless, relaxed feeling for the length of the dental treatment. It’s effects cease and the patient regains full function within only a few minutes after ceasing inhalation.

Intravenous (IV) Sedation

Our practice offers IV sedation which is provided by a qualified professional who will visit the practice for your pre-booked appointment. IV sedation provides patients with the opportunity to have their dental treatment completed in a relaxed and anxiety-free state.

IV sedation is a common sedative used during dental treatments for patients who require extra care due to nervousness, phobias or a particular medical condition. Time passes very quickly for patients while under sedation, a deep feeling of relaxation is induced and you will remember very little, if any, of the dental treatment as if you were asleep the whole time.
