Invisible Orthodontics

Invisalign®

Invisalign is a ground breaking new orthodontic treatment which can re-align your teeth without the need for permanently affixed braces. Using the latest in orthodontic technology, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move your teeth into a straighter position. Step by step the teeth are adjusted toward a straighter, more confident smile.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of aligners that gradually move your teeth into a straighter position. During the treatment you will change aligners approximately every two weeks. Each individual aligner is manufactured with precise calculations to gradually shift your teeth into place. Every six to eight weeks you will visit your friendly Calamvale Village Dental team for a progress check, make required adjustments and collect your new series of aligners.
The entire process is completely customised to your teeth and the subtle pressure required, re-aligning your teeth into a straighter smile. The treatment usually lasts for around one year although it does vary from case to case.

What are the benefits of Invisalign Invisible Braces?

  1. Invisalign is practically invisible allowing treatment without the unnecessary attention of others. The aligners are practically indistinguishable by the human eye so very few people will even notice the Invisalign treatment unlike braces which are unsightly with the prominent metal brackets and wires.
  2. Invisalign aligners can be very easily removed at any time allowing you to eat, drink, brush and floss without problem. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign is not affixed to your teeth permanently and no special brushing or flossing techniques are required.
  3. Invisalign fits comfortably over the teeth with smooth edges which do not irritate your gums or cheeks unlike traditional braces where the hard metal edges can cause irritation in the mouth.
