Preventive Care is an essential part of a patients’ care. We, at Designer Dental Studio believe this includes regular assessment of the teeth, bone, gums and saliva to identify concerns quickly. With consistent and thorough Preventive Care, our patients can maintain good oral health and prevent the need for extensive, costly or ongoing dental treatment.

A tooth with a small hole may only need a seal or small filling whereas a tooth with a very large hole may end up needing Root Canal Treatment and a Crown. This is the difference between a treatment in the hundreds of dollars and one in the thousands. By being diligent in preventative care, appointments become fewer, shorter and more comfortable.

Traditional dentistry was a ‘patch and repair' affair where pain was the only criteria for attendance. The dental industry has now changed for the better with focus now on preventing dental concerns and swiftly fixing any issues that arise.

We encourage our patients to schedule regular Preventive Care appointments, which include a Comprehensive Examination with Dr Craig Duval and a Professional Clean with Jade, our Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist.
